June 2017 - Salus Global, the parent company of the MOREOB Program had the pleasure of awarding recipients of the 2016 MOREOB Patient Safety Awards with their plaques at today’s SOGC Annual Meeting in Ottawa.
Open to active MOREOB Program participants, the coveted Patient Safety Award is presented annually and recognizes healthcare teams who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving patient safety within their obstetrical unit.
To qualify for the award, teams must demonstrate exceptional and interprofessional teamwork in the innovative application of learnings and concepts from the MOREOB Program contributing to quality improvement, culture change and/or improved clinical outcomes.
This year’s winners are:
- CIUSSS du Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean (Hôpital de Roberval), Roberval, QC
- Windsor Regional Hospital – Metropolitan Campus, Windsor, ON
- Stanton Territorial Hospital, Yellowknife, NT
