2017 Winners of the coveted MOREOB Patient Safety Awards

Salus Global is pleased to announce the 2017 winners of the coveted MOREOB Patient Safety Awards!

  • Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur de Montréal du CIUSSS du Nord-de-l’Île-de-Montréal

Open to active MOREOB Program participants, the coveted Patient Safety Award is presented annually and recognizes healthcare teams who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to improving patient safety within their obstetrical unit.

 

To qualify for the award, teams must demonstrate exceptional and interprofessional teamwork in the innovative application of learnings and concepts from the MOREOB Program contributing to quality improvement, culture change and/or improved clinical outcomes.

 

This week, Salus Global, the parent company of the MOREOB Program, will award and/or recognize the recipients of the 2017 Patient Safety Awards at the SOGC Annual Meeting in Victoria, BC.

 

On behalf of Malcolm Eade, Salus Global, President and CEO and the entire Salus Global team, we’d like to extend heartfelt congratulations to the winners, the award applicants and all the teams who participate in the Program.  “The commitment to continuous improvement is what we need to celebrate.  These awards give us the added opportunity to showcase the varied and innovative applications of the MOREOB Program concepts”.  Malcolm added, “Special thanks are due to the Awards review committee for their challenging role in selecting the three winners from the many submissions.”
